Although Chaz was born in the deep south, he was raised in central Arizona. Like a lot of percussionists, Chaz begin playing drums while attending grade school in Arizona. It quickly became apparent to Chaz and the people around him that he excelled in music.

By age twenty-five Chaz had toured the east coast opening for several national acts. After relocating to Pennsylvania the band Chaz was with did a showcase and was persued by a few labels including A & M records.

By the late 1990’s Chaz had moved back to Central Arizona and began playing the local club scene. People who have followed Tattooed Soul since the beginning might remember that Chaz was originally the bass player for the first few shows until Charles brought in Andy.

Chaz currently resides in Peoria, Arizona where he is the drummer of independent recording artist, Tattooed Soul.
