Charles was born and raised in southern Arizona. Charles has been singing since birth, as a matter of fact, one of his first memories is of himself standing on the seat of his fathers pick up truck and singing to anyone who would listen; He was two years old at the time.

With music taking up most of his time and energy, Charles began playing bass guitar as a teenager. By the age of 20 Charles decided to set down the bass and become a full time vocalist. While playing the local club scene in Tucson, Arizona Charles met Andy Keel, (who would later become the bassist of Tattooed Soul for a span of 2yrs).

Andy and Charles knew they needed exposure in a larger market. Since they were only two hours from Phoenix, (The fifth largest city in America), it became the obvious choice.

Charles has been living in Phoenix, Arizona since 1996, where he is currently the vocalist for independent recording artist, Tattooed Soul.
